I have Barco remote for my 1208 that i was going to sell to a forum member. However when I checked it this morning the 9-volt battery that i put in it new, 3 months earlier was dead! Is this normal or does this indicate a problem?

Strange but this has also happened to me on perfectly good Barco remotes. Replace the battery and reset the remote to address 000

Doubt the remote is at fault but they sure go through battery's quick even with little use !
