One for sale at the ETF site. No pictures though.
I have a 1979 Mitsubishi front projection TV for sale, 72 inch free standing screen (Yes, six foot diagonal). Projector is in a wooden cabinet that looks like a big end table. Has three CRT projectors that are really neat. They have a parabolic mirror in the back with a hole in it for the electron beam to pass thru. In front, on the clear glass screen, you can see a small phosphor screen, attached to the front, facing inwards. the beam passes thru the hole in the mirror, illuminates the phosphor screen, that is reflected in the mirror, back out the front of the tube!! This set is worth it just see see the neat tubes! Now the bad part is that the set started intermittently not turning on, every now and then it fires up, but more often or not it plays dead. I got a new set now. This is one of the first Home projector sets, and was very expensive back then. Built Jan. 1979 Mitsubishi Video Scan System, VS-707U. Best Offer, located at: Redwood City, California, email dmenche914 at hotmail dot com (2/6/09)
