Back in 2004, I got a 1270Q with some bad boards. Curt Palme had me send him the 3 CPU boards, he fixed them and sent them back in March, 2005. Then I got sick, had a stroke, went broke, came back and now am trying to get back to making the 1270Q work at our home. This question is because I cannot remember everything from yesterday much less what I did five years ago and hope someone can write it down or send me where to get the info.

The problem is with the Blue registration. Using the remote, I got the red and green set up properly. When I try to do the Blue, it is sized properly and horizontally aligns with the red and green but the vertical is way off to the left of the others. When I use the keys to move it, I get an error on the screen that says Overflow.

Should I adjust the Blue CRT a little or is there a reset button or something to put the registration back to defaults like you can on the other adjustments?

I don't think I ever did anything else to the projector once I got those three cards back from Curt in March, 2005 other than install them so I don't know if this is a problem it has had for years or something I did when taking it apart and putting it back together.

Just an answer about where to go next to align the Blue CRT would be great. Is it the tube to be moved or a card adjustment, etc.?

Thanks,
Ray Laube

Use 'Zone 1' in the zone menu. THe 'B shift' is a fine tune adjustment. Set it back to roughly the midpoint, and use Zone 1. That will get you where you want to be.
