A little birdie flew down, landed on my shoulder and wispered in my ear "The Sony BDP-CX7000ES Mega changer, will be available at the end of this month." Hold on to your butts cause it's gonna be pricey. Not a estimate. Sure priced at $1,899.99.
I still want it but at that price, it's going to have to wait.

While I'd embrace a mega changer that was quick to respond in terms of loading and unloading a disk, a GUI that was actually useful and robust, and offered an Ethernet interface whereby PC (or PS3) control could be done, I cannot entertain $1900 for anything less.
Even at $30 a pop that equates to 60 Blu-ray movies. And based on my experience with previous Sony DVD mega changers, its no faster than making the manual effort to t a single disk player.
And being the peculiar person that I can be, I was never happy at the disk arrangement within the changer itself. Maybe that consternation could be resolved with a highly robust and responsive and customizable interface.

This is something that my system is begging for. You see, I have NO source equipment in my theater. Heck, I don't have any source equipment in my house. It's all remote mounted in a un-attached garage. Everything is rack mounted in a air conditioned and filtered space. The only equipment in my theater is the projector, screen, speakers and Crestron touch panel. This mega changer is the last piece of the puzzle for FULL automation of my theater.

I'm with Chip on this one..............
Anyone who has set up a CRT theater with their equipment three rooms away will find it a must.
I know I'll be looking at one for Christmas.
I will no longer have to go into the equipment room for anything.........YAAAAWHOOOO!!!!
200 disk changer........................
PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!

Even better since it's a 400 disk changer.
