Would anyone near the Raleigh area be interested in helping a fpj newb setup his projector? As a bribe I cook some really mean Afghan food
The pj is already mounted on the ceiling, so it would just be setup.

Nothing wrong with a dwin... relatively small and quiet. As Kal said, they're relatively rare. But the basics of CRT are common among all models, so anyone should be able to help you even if they don't have a dwin.
Isn't Craig Rounds in your area?

Not sure who Craig Rounds is. I don't know of anyone else in my area who has a crt projector.

I'm in Charlotte. NEC's are the extent of my CRT projector experience but I know there are people in Raleigh with CRT projectors. I sold an XG to a gentleman in Raleigh a few months ago. I'm pretty sure he is a member here but not an active poster. Let me see if I can find his member name.
