I have a NEC 10PG... recently added Moome EXT box and VGA-RGBHV cable. I have had a multitude of issues with configuring source inputs and maintaining convergence as I switch between sources, but I am up against the most intransigent issue yet... I believe I have a very good convergence, but when I have areas of high contrast on the screen I get red and blue ghosting. It is not as marked as poor convergence but it is still irritating as all get out.
I have attached a picture. The ghost image is coming trough in all three CRTs, though very faintly in red...
Could this be related to contrast or gamma settings on the Moome box? I posted on that forum as well with no reply.

That's not a convergence issue. It's bleeding in the signal chain. If it were a Marquee I'd say it was time to replace the capacitors on the
neck cards. I do think that you've got weak capacitors somewhere in the video chain, and they should be replaced.

Does it do it if you run straight RGBHV to it? From a PC.

Before I added BluRay I ran component video into my AVR, then RGBHV to the projector via a transcoder. I did not have the same issues. I am going to move the Moome box close to the projector and run a long (~25') HDMI cableto it and connect it to the projector with a short RGBHV breakout cableand see if that fixes it.
Are you suggesting that the HD-15 to RGBHV cable might be the problem?

Either that or the Moome box.
If if didn't do it before, then it's probably the new signal chain.
