I've had one, they work well, I would have bought that one for $10. the first time it was listed but couldn't get an answer from the lister for a reasonable shipping cost...
What do you want to know ? They work really well, and even have a "yaw" adjustment to make sure you can get your projector EXACTLY squared to the screen...
Personally, I'd recommend replacing the long threaded rod pieces with much shorter ones, unless you need the drop. Using it wasn't a one person operation, btw, I needed someone to hold the rope and do a bit of pulling while I secured the projector piece to the ceiling piece...

I have an open beam ceiling with sort of an A frame shape to it. My 1209 is currently hanging from some long 1/2" threaded rods and unistrut and I just wanted a better way to get it up and down than the block and tackle that I have. Did you notice anything about the mount that you would have liked to improve?

It's been about 6 years since I owned it, sorry, all I can remember that I didn't like about it was the need for two people when using it. I prefer using my Genie hand crank material lift instead, I can mount and unmount any projector I like without help...

I had one of the Barco CM100 pully mounts but it was made of aluminum. Great product. An absolute steal at $10 if the shipping isn't over $100.

I have one. The upper half of the mount is above the ceiling in the attic. The threaded rod pokes through the ceiling and the bottom half is bolted against the ceiling. Definitely took two people to put it up, but was very easy.

I have half of one of these (I dont have the ceiling mount plate). So, we replicated the ceiling mount plate as best we could from what pics we found online and it made raising our BG800 a lot easier. One person on the rope, one person guiding it onto fixed position bolts that go through the lower frame piece on the BG800.
With a little bit of ingenuity, a pulley & mount system like this would be very very easy to build. If anyone is interested, I have the "specs" required to make one for a BG500/800 or similar projector (ie: ones with similar balance points).

Appendix A of the BG800 Manual shows how to "build" one (ie, has the drawings, measurements and specs of the Barco one, which could be used to replicate it). How neat. Woulda saved me some measuring had I found that before building the top half of it.
