Hi,
Well, I don't know if it is really a prb. That is why I'm asking 
I own a BG808 with RGB amps from a BG800. I was trying to adjust the G2's (contrast = 0, brigthness = 50 and black picture displayed) when I realized that inside the green tube, the last picture displayed was still on the tube even when I turn off the video source and even with the Barco unplugged. After a few minutes (I don't know exactly) with the BG unplugged, everything is back to normal: the green tube is clean.
It is also true with OSD from the Barco. For example, the display of the contrast bar can be on the green tube for a while even if there is nothing appearing on the screen.
It doesn't seem to be a problem when I watch a movie, but does it mean that it is a future problem (old caps beginning to suffer?) or is it normal? Nothing on the red and blue tubes.
Thanks for your help because I am a bit worried

That is normal for phosphorus used in green projector tubes, all those do that.
801 amps (VPH06 chip) would be more reliable and have higher BW than 800 amps.

Having the picture in the green tube makes it difficult to adjust the G2 for green as it should be set when the raster just lights up. By the way, when I read that "the raster just shows up" does it mean that the full raster must be visible, not just part of it (because the left side of my rasters are brighter)?
I am not sure if these amps are from 800 or 801, how do I recognize a VPH06 chip?

G2 is not so accurate, because last you need to tweak brightness anyway. Adjust so that full raster is showing about same level at every tube, it's easier.
801 have R762173 amps and 800 have R761750.
VPH06 is about 40 mm (1.6") wide video pack attached to amp frame.

The 808 SMPS supplies 210v to the RGB Output Amps. If you are using amps from an 800 they need 230v which is supplied by 800 SMPS. I am not sure if the 800 amps will even operate correctly.

I have downgraded many R7621735 and R7621736 amps to R762173 by removing ABL and those work fine in 801s, 808 and D808s.
