and also if you could choose what would be better to have the cpc slightly more forward with the focus coil slightly back or cpc magnets slightly back with focus coil more forward???

its a marquee 9500 with frankenyokes but i have 2 housings for the focus coils that would change the position of the focus coil for a little more room for the cpc magnets

For the frankenyoke what you can do is remove the coil itself and ream out the center edge of each coil with a rounded rasp or some 50-100 grit sand paper to enlarge the inside diameter near the tube face side(the flat side of the frankenyoke) then remove the clamp on the convergence yoke and the frankenyoke will fit over it if its needed. the best way to find out the correct position for any focus yoke is to remove the focus coil connectors from the FCM and move the yoke up and down the tube neck till you get best focus , this is the perfect static focus for the magnets of the coil and clamp it down there, if its further back from the removed convergence clam you should put that clamp back on. Then once it is all done put the CPC magnets all in the null posistion(all the small tabs, not the twist knobs, together) and put those back on watching for any focus change and again going for best focus. then re connect your coils and rest focus for each tube in the RGB focus menu.
