I picked up a couple 9000's today for a song, the units both power up fine and have the newer mec tubes, I don't have time to set these up any time soon but wanted to see how many hours are on them, I have had a few 8500's but I cant remember were the hour display is or how to get to it. bare in mind I am reading the menus inverted by just looking into the lens face

Any body know of hand were I can find the hours of standby and crt's on?

TIA

Hello

Push * to readout the firmware level. If v2.0 or higher, push UTIL, 9, 0901, 6, 3. Units below v2.0 do not have clocks. Many 8000s and 9000s were operated without clocks for months or longer then chipped up. Hours did not accrue before chip up.
