|
|
Does anyone know how to trouble shoot LVPS on ecp 4100? I cannot figure out how to get to it.
Any detailed step by step instructions would be useful.
All the LEDs lights at the back are lit up except for the 5V LED. I was told that it is the LVPS or the diode itself that is bad. I tested the voltage across the LED and it seems ok.
Thanks in advance for any help.

This is a very complicated supply to work on. I've never had success in repairing them, so I've just replaced them. E'home outsourced them, so no schematics or service info was ever released.

Thanks for your reply. How do I replace them? Do you have any that you can sell me? How much? Thanks

SO, I finally got my affairs back in order and now find myself with some time to devote to the ECP4100 that I am having problems with. Here is the situation:
I switched on the machine and the 5V LED on the back does not light up.
I used a meter and find that the voltage across the diose is about 0.8V DC.
So, is this a LVPS problem or what else could be wrong. I don't exactly have lots of dough to throw on this old projector. Any help you guys can provide would be most welcome...
THANKS and God Bless.
