I just got a Mitsubishi WS-73615 RPTV. for my Hd inputs i only have HDMI and component. So here is my idea, this set is in dire need of gamma correction. could i hook up a VGA to Component cable to the output of the RTC-2200 to take advantage of it's gamma correction or will it only support RGBHV?

Nope. You need an HDfury2 or a component to RGB converter. I'd recommend the HDfury2. The component outputs of most devices don't look as good as HDMI not to mention that source devices will only scale out of the HDMI output. On component you're limited to 480p.
