I turn on the power switch on my 1292q and there is a click inside but nothing else....no lights or anything. Can I check anything before I send it in for repair??? Sad

Are there any error codes? Man, it's been a while but I think you have to look through the fan vent as pictured in the link.

Thanks,

Jose at Alpine Electronics Service, Provo, Ut has it and found problems with the DC board 1-656-955-12 and E board 1-1366-343-13.

I need a service manual for the schematics for repairs, or search for the boards online, thanks

Bill

Can I be your neighbor???
I just finished my girls room and they have not moved in yet so if you are in the area...

There are some boards on ebay but that's always a gamble like my 1292!

I am good for the best bang for the buck, maybe more boards to come!
Let me know cost, scubamangoingdiving@hotmail.com, thanks for the quick reply Curt!

Bill,

Send the boards to Curt or perhaps Exchange for working ones and get a warranty. Never gone wrong yet with Curt on that score!!
