I like to get a judder-free picture, but after one-nigh hard work, I still can't work it out. The picture is 48fps correctly, but I can see judders or lost frames(I can see a pause when the pciture is panning a camera smoothly). The following is my setting:
1. 1280X720
2. 47.95Hz
3. Genlock is off( I try on before, but it is the same)
4. Deinterlace mode: film
5. The latest version of SW
6. Source is Panasonic S97 DVD player outputing 480i with component video into Lumagen.
What should I try next?

I can not find where to turn off de-interlacing, only different modes. But I try 1280X720@72Hz, it is still the same. I found the problem in the starring of Chihuahua, where the camera is panning from the sky to the ground. Is this movie different?
By the way I find another problem. My Lumagen has more red output in the dark area than my other devices like PS3, DVD player, and PC. I use PLUGE pattern in DVE to test. But it seems correct if I output the built patterns in Lumagen, so I guess it is becuase the component ADC's probelm. Is there any way to fix it or reset it?

Hi,
your input is 480i?
So then you have 59,94Hz interlaced from DVD.
So why are you converting it to 47.95Hz?
It must studder...

Erich

Really?
I thought a good scaler would de-interlace the signal, recombine the field into 24 fps, double it and output it. Was I wrong?
