I've been playing and figuring out the XG, but I have question. I've noticed when a signal from the computer is put through it, the phosphor usage is very minimal. When I send the PS2 over s-video, the usage is almost full face.

Is this normal?

Yes. The higher the scanrate the smaller the image.

You need to compensate by creating a custom resolution, with smaller porches than the generic PC ones.
