[Zubinell]

I just picked up what I hope to be a happy deal on a Barco 808s with very pretty tubes and 3100 hours for $400. BUT there seems to be some funny display issue with the red raster. When displayed, the raster is not of a symmetrical display as the other tubes and when I perform raster centering it will not reach to a fully and properly centered position. The blue centering seems to be take a little effort as well but the raster display is symmetrical. I have attached some pictures of the tube faces and the raster display. I reviewed the tube/raster setup brief and found nothing discussing the display I see, Any assistance would be welcome. Thanks

Adjust red and blue center zone convergenses to 50/50 from menu and center rasters to tube face from vertical and Hsift board pots.

Red and blue geometry will be better when you get pictures to center of tube and then adjust tubes projection angles mechanically to match green from center of picture. Then convergence again.

When that is done and projector is set perpendicular to screen pictures should look something like this in tubes.

Thanks for the input and info. The Blue and Green are very simular to the illustration indicated and the red is exactly opposite. I will pursue the task at my earliest opportunity.
