I fixed it had it working fine in the garage and made the mistake of dragging/dolly about 20 feet. by my self. I bent the front IR device above the power switch so it turned on and stayed on overriding the keyboard.
I bent it back ,the keyboard and the remote both turn on & off the projector and 14 fans the crt has light. But that is it! none of the keys work. I can not get the page or any word or symbol. The diagnostic meter does not work I got it to go 00.. and when a fan is disconnected it will shut down but not show any error.
At AVS FORUM someone suggested that the 1292q has a PROTECT MODE which allows on off but nothing else. This sounds dead on after all the projector worked dragged gently never jostled ... Here are some more clues
When I pulled the Y processor board out ..dead
DA & Db board 3 seconds of power.
To recap it powers on and stays on does not project but shows light Help
I finally got my Blu Ray HD Fury setup and now this Ohh the shame the hurt to me denied 1080P on my 2.5 gain Draper and Unemployed bitten by yet another Layoff from a Global Dragon Corporation etc. etc.
