I tried doing a search but it seems the search is not pulling old topics. I thought sure I had read (or even started) posts about this before.

My main Marquee is back up after installing new HV leads (thanks Curt). The arcing had taken out two HDMs. My last one is now in there. I am 90% sure that I have replaced C50 on that HDM. It was being used in a spare Marquee without any problems (no variable width pulsing).

But in my main Marquee I get the width pulsing. What other things could contribute to that besides a leaking C50 on the HDM?

Could be the daughter boards chips or the daughter board itself. Remove and clean the contacts on the removable chips(if they are removeable) .

Hello

Arcing from the anode leads could fry the H yoke couplers and the connector contacts, try inspecting those also.
