This is only a very temporary thing, we bled the tubes in this 9PG today and then did some setup to have a few games, had the motorised screen hung from 2 8ft fibreglass ladders, PG sitting on an electric forklift, and the laptop providing us with a 1024x768 image from the NEO-GEO.
Pretty rough and raw, but i took some pics
And got a couple screen shots from in game on NAM 1975:
This is the first time ive seen the 9PG in action, and it was a shock just how bloody good the picture is, and we didnt really do a flash job on setup. Contrast and sharpness was something ive never ever seen so good before, we've been playing NAM 1975 since the very early 90s, and we noticed details tonight we have never ever seen before.... And we thought we'd seen all thsi old game had to offer!!!

That rocks!! and it only gets better, once you have it hung and do 2 or 3 set ups yuo will be shocked how immersive that image can be.

Not sure the focus aids on the bench will help with a sharp picture though.

Meh, a little blurry after some 12 year old. IT's all good when gaming.
We use to have a b!tch pop cooler here called UFO. It made it hard to leave your chair after just one glass. We use to drink those and play Duke Nukem 3D for hours on end. It was great

Good idea to start after you set up the pj though. Judjing by the amount left in the focus aid bottle I say he started way before finishing setup.

I got a bottle of 8 year old Bacardi at Newyears. I opened it while watching The Dark Knight. I had to go back and rewatch the last 30 minutes the next day. I had a slight blank spot in my memory.

Not taking into account my Sony 1001, this was the first real setup either of us had done, and it was a bit of a learning curve, the Sony is a piece of piss to setup and takes less than 20 minutes!!
I dont know about the Highland Park, that bottle was only half full to start with, it wasnt mine, my mate Al drank that, i was on the Famous Grouse. It never went in a glass, we use stainless steel 1ltr cups, less time filling, and stays cooler

Well it only goes to show, things can only improve!! The source started out as 320x240.

Yep, we usually have a fair few while gaming, it improves the unpredictability of it all
