Hi,
I live in the UK & have the Audio Authority AVX 561 system http://www.audioauthority.com/product_details/1166 (the 1166 is the part with the input/outputs) , I intend to get a a Sky HD satellite box which now unfortunately don't have component out.
My question is do I go HDFury2 or Moome to go from HDMI?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Stu

HDFury2 will take and HDMI signal in and output a component signal ( or RGBHV it's switchable )

What display do you have?

Hi Analogrocks,
Sony KDL40X2000U ..which I'd like to sell & replace it with the Panasonic TH-42PZ81B, I also have an old but fab CRT.
either/all screens are away from the 561 unit, it feeds all the screens throughout the house using cat5 to the wall plates then RCA from the wall plates to the screens...

No question really. I was just wondering how you had all this set up. Component over CAT5 to all the TV's right?

Are you curently running highdef to these sets? Just make sure they will all accept a 1080i/25 or 720P/50 signal. Oddly some set's sold in PAL teritory had HD input scan rates or North America only. Pioneer 50x series for instance.

Just thought I would give you the heads up. Very Happy

STU: Yes, the Audio Authority spits out what you put in via cat5

STU: Broadcast TV & Sat' are via a Coax distribution system at the mo & DVD's are via a local unit & HDMI, when I'm done all sources will come via the AVX 561 no local ones just distribution.

Thanks, Stu
