Can anyone steer me to a company that makes conversion lenses to make a PJ project on a flat surface that was originally projecting on a curved screen??
Used lenses are OK, have parts? PM me
Lens suppliers in general for 8" CRT
Thanks!!

Measure the mounting holes and see what's close. YOu could also have one of the guys machine you up some mounting plates for HD-8's, PT-65's etc....

I've got a collection of HD8s that aren't doing anything. If this is for the Advent, HD14x would be a waste of effort IMHO.
My just-in Marquee 8110 lenses look clean, I'll verify and they're yours for the cost of shipping.

I have some HD-8's and some PT-65's that you can have for the cost of shipping. Where are you located? I'm in San Diego.

If it's for your Advent, I don't think anything off later model sets will fit.

Ohhh these lenses.
Right I had no idea what you were refereing to when you PM'ed me. Maybe I have too many posts?
I don't have any for sale. I meant one of the guys here would sell you a set of lenses and maybe if you couldn't make them fit one of the other guys ( Joust perhaps? ) could machine you up a mounting plate. It won't be a cheap solution though.

SOme of the later models had correction lenses that were suited for use on flat screens.

Well, perhaps something from later Novatron based projectors, like the ITT/Novabeam's. Schmidt optiks tubes like these use correction plates, later models even some of the 1000A were also available for flatscreen use.

I own a machine shop and can make anything you want but I would need to know exactly what it is you need to do this. Preferably an engineering drawing or cad file of any format. Any kind of small quantity part is going to be expensive though. I could make adapters like Joust's but not at that price. I would have to run batches of 50 or more to be able to sell them at that price and make a profit. You might ask him about an adapter set for your application.
