After 4 years with a NEC 9PG+, I had the chance to pick up an XG-110. I have it up in the air and I am finding the learning curve steeper than I thought it would be as there is a good bit of difference between the machines. I am having a problem though, I am getting a C3 error readout and when I go to start my convergence adjustments I am receiving the message:
D-CONV CPU NOT READY.
Bad board or am I missing something?
Thanks.

I haven't had that error before, but you can send me all of the boards in the card cage for testing if you want. SHort of board swapping, you won't narrow a fault like this down.

I seem to remember this message coming up when I tried a board from a different XG model (putting a 1350 board in a 1110 for example). It could be the previous owner swapped in a board. For a 110, the System board is a PWC-4063 and the D-Conv board is a PWC-4064. There is also a Run no. that should match the 1st 3 characters (like 2R4-167A).
The other alternative is just wait until the D-CON board is damn good and ready!

Thanks to all for their input. It took me a little while to work around the projector and find everything. I never had to mess with the cards on my PG9+ and the XG is quite different anyway. I found the D-Conv card and reseated everything in the cage. That appears to have solved the problem. Thanks again to everyone.
