I am a total newbie at this but fairly technically adept. Just purchased a Sony46XBR6 and of course half the fun is learning about calibration. Here goes. I am using the HCFR software, the DVD you suggested and an Eyeone 2 LT.
The guide is well written and I thought I was doing fine. Brightness and contrast seemed a breeze but I had a problem with greyscale.
It seems the blue was at 235% and no matter how much I adjusted the rgb i could never get it to 100%. The best I could get was about 200%.
Could I have missed something? Could it be the Eyeone? the Sony?
Any help would be appreciated.
