Moby,

That is a very nice looking room. Can you explain how you built the CD rack? I'm also curious what screen surface you are using.

Thanks!
I got the screen from this company!

The Cd rack is quite complicated to explain. I use teak wood and have them cut and glued together to make a perfect fit for two cds. I them make about 100 more. I made a rotating base made out of polished granite. I ve stuck a a long steel rod in the center of the base. Then I make a hole in all the cd "holders" centerpoint and slide all of them into the centerrod so they make this different pattern. As a finale I srew the top tightly with all the holders so they wont move voila!
It takes me about a month to make these. I made quite a few for my friends who are extremely happy with it. Materials for these cost about 600 dollars. But you can make them with cheaper materials if you like.
My inspiration for this cd rack is from a building I saw in sweeden. check it out!

Do what I do,....every time you watch a movie point out the reflected light off of the ceiling....after a while it will start to bother her, or she will just give in to shut you up Thumbs Up

Congratulations that is a very nice bedroom.

just get some velvet or some other black material and rail two sides so that you can move it back and forth on the ceiling so when you are done watching you just push it back towards the screen, that way she cannot really complain. Thats my intention anyway good luck and great room man, I am in serious trouble now I have 3 pjs in my bedroom.........

The Toronto Home Show model home featured a master bedroom with a black ceiling. Wink

Seriously though, my wife would be far more accepting of a black ceiling then a large crt pj overhead.

Yes you have to do something about the shinie white ceiling and the shinie red walls unless you like having what will look like a red push to the picture.
