I used to use some type of apple/itunes site. They had trailers in 480p, 720p, and 1080p
Now I just watch the previews on the Blu-ryas I rent.

Where is the quicktime link? It used to be in the top menu bar.

If you have a PS3, you can also just go to the sony store (furthest right menu choice on PS3). You can download trailers and demos for games as well. They have movie trailers for movies coming to blu-ray an can choose up to 1080p for most.
For new releases... http://www.imdb.com/nowplaying/
not sure of resolutions though.
