are there any differences in the deflection yokes of a 8" marquee and a 9" marquee??? I have a bad yoke that is arching on my 9" and need to know if a spare 8" yoke will work as well or will there be a degrade in performance

The "bell" shape is slightly different between 8' and 9" tubes. The yoke shape is slightly different because of this. You can use either yoke on either tube just push firmly as far forward as possible before tightening to tube neck. VDC has long been using one part number yoke for 8XXX and 9XXX models. This works for recent revision projectors. I have not seen or know if there were significant differences with earlier models.
