Right around 5k on my G70, it has slight uneven wear from the last owner but overall it looks fine.

Great Poll!! Wanman. Mr. Green Seriously

I have around 1700 on my XG, unfortunately I moved the projector closer to the screen some 300 hours ago to maximize raster usage and it uncovered some uneven wear. It’s not horrible but it still bugs me and I will probably be shopping for a NEW green tube during the next few months, I’m not even sure I can find one. IMO XGs seem to be green tube eaters if raster useage is not maximized.

Anybody know how I can check my timer on my 1252? I have looked on the site, but have been unable to find reference to how I might manage that.

No, the 1252 should have a counter. IIRC, the 1270 was the only 12xx with no hour counter. The 1271, 1252, and 1272 should all have counters.

In "service man" mode only, just hit the "PAGE" key one the remote until you get to page 5, and all three CRT hours are right there. When you're in "user" mode, that page won't even show up - there will be only 4 pages.

I have just over 5k on my 1272. I see alot of you have under a 1000. What The Heck? Pop some Pop corn grab a beverage, and WATCH A MOVIE!!!! lol Really I wish I could find a set of tubes on the cheap side, and replace mine. I know I can get a better PJ but I am happy with the resolution on this one Smile
