I was browsing the Internet for some PS3 themes and wound up here. I downloaded several of them and put them on a USB thumb drive, which is recognized when I plug it into the PS3. But, the *.p3t files are not recognized as a PS3 theme file.

Anyone got any ideas?

Did you put them in a folder named "THEME"?

Your title is Theses not Themes...I thought I was going to be reading a Thesis on how PS3 users have some sort of physiological condition or something Wink

Didn't know I had to do that. I've now tried it and no good. Does the PS3 recognize only certain file systems?

Actually, you don't HAVE to put stuff in named folders, but if you don't, you will have to use the triangle key to see the files you're looking for.

As for why the themes aren't working, I'm not sure - I've never tried to do it. From the few I glanced at, they all look heinous compared to the factory themes, so I have little desire to change it. Show me something that actually looks BETTER, and I'll give it a whirl.

Try formatting the Flash drive on the PS3, then copying the file on the PC again?!!?!
