|
|
I just plugged in a port 3 board to try out my HDfury2 with a PS3 and now my pj is failing. it was working fine before this.
I haven't even switched over to the port three and was just trying to make sure things were fine with the port 3 board in, so i was testing it with a dvd on my port 5 board but when I turn on the pj, no picture came up and it shuts down, rebooted, shuts down and reboots and then just shuts down. No picture at all. I get an error on the led lights but that's about it.
any idea anyone?

So I'm looking a bit further and I see I connected to the Vertical board and not the video/rgb board on the otherside.
is there a way to rest it? pull the vertical board out and put it back in?

Sounds like a normal reaction when the PJ can't boot - you may just
try making the proper connection and starting over. Or just pull out the
port three board and start over - see if it will boot first.

I pulled out board 3 and tried again and its still just turns itself off and on and then shuts down completely.
what I did was connect the board 3 yellow wires into a connector on the vertical board rather than on the video board. I don't get any picture at all.

You blew up the V board. I've done that here myself.
Let me know if you want to send it in.
Cheers!
