|
|
Hi... am refurbing a Marquee 8500 I bought recently for my HT. Its looking pretty good except for the grey warning sticker on the front. Looks like someone had some tape on it and ripped it off. Could someone take a photo of it and post it here. I'll print it and stick it back on my pj to get it looking new again.
Thanks!
Kevin.

Why do you want to use the origional sticker, why not come up with one on your own to use, something a bit more relevant to HT and stuff like that. I don't remember there ever being a warning sticker on my Marquee, maybe mine fell off? It did have a sticker below the plug that listed the power requirements, is this the one you're thinking of?

I was looking for the grey one.... not the one below the power plug (I have that one).

But this one is too small.
Was just after the sticker so it looks more like it did when it left the factory. If I ever sell it, it'll look near new. Its like when you buy a car and there are no factory stickers on it... you know its been in a smash!

your joking right? Why would you want to keep, much less reproduce that awful sticker? I bet your one of those guys that's afraid to remove the sticker off your mattress.
seriously though, peel if off as best you can and then use a Citrus based cleaner to get rid of the glue residue. everything that anyone needs to know is on the white sticker by the power chord.

You might be better off just buying a replacement front plate from Curt.
I'm sure it can't be much.
Although, does a fully intact sticker increase the sales price?

I've heard that the MP modded stickers improve the sales price much more than the stock ones, but hey a non modded sticker is still better than none.

Thanks guys.... well... I might just peel it off. As long as there was nothing important on the sticker (as mine is badly damaged I can't tell).
But hey... a modded sticker sounds great!

Use some goof off. It will dissolve the glue and allow you to completely remove the sticker.

It all means nothing since the machine was re-badged and sold as a Vidikron just for home use with no such sticker anywhere to be found.
