Can Marquee 9500LC fed by a PS3 through the Moome card produce 1080p pictures?

I tried on my 9500LC, and it seems to me that 1080p is out of range, and 1080i is the maximum.

Did I do something wrong?

Thanks.

"out of range"? Can you be more specific.

Well, when I selected 1080p from PS3 display settings-custom resolution, the PJ just went blank without showing any images. So I thought 1080p is out the of PJ's scan range.

try using the phase control on the PJ, the timing might have put the picture so for over to one side it the phase blanks it out. try increasing then decreasing. Might work might not. Alos mess around with the long and short retrace.

Thanks.

When 1080p is selected, it is not just the dispayed material that was not shown, the PJ generated internal images such as utility screens could not be shown either.

Hello

Could be a horizontal deflection module problem, or control/DPB problem.

Thanks. Is there any other way to test my PJ to confirm that?

I have tried to select the internal ferquency sources to set up for ASI. When I selected the two sources with horiz scan of over 62.5khz, the screen would go blank.

I have also noticed that when I hooked the PJ to my HTPC, and change the resolution to anything over 1152x864 (or something like that), the horizontal scan lines appear to "fold back" at the left edge of the screen. And If I select 1600x1200 at 60HZ, the PJ would go blank.

Even with those issues, the PJ works nicely for 1080i for PS3, and 1152x864 at 60HZ for HTPC.

Of course, I would love to have 1080p for my PJ.

What do all of you think? Anything I should do?
