Maybe Chip snuck in an swapped some magnets for his Ampro
I'm finally beginning a full setup of the 9501LC that i got in that giant RP chassis from govliq... I never paid any notice while swapping bellows and C elements, but it appears that the stig magnets are 2-pole only?
There's only one active ring set, with one dead ring set playing spacer role. WTF?
If this is the case, would the 2,4 magnets from the dead 1208s/2 work (when I find my calipers I'll measure the neck diameter.)

The ones from the Barco should fit no problem. I'm sure I have some extra's here somewhere in the garage.
You ain't gonna be happy untill you've swapped out a hundred parts before you fire it up are you???

I just dropped it, squared the mount, and flew it again... seems like SOMEBODY can't draw a straight line.

I haven't had a drink in a month
The mount was down for the plaster and paint, don't forget. It's within 1/4" of square now, and the projector is within 1/2"
Lenses are on, 2 pole centering is done (along with the first few steps of Bill Blue's Marquee Magnetics guide) and the HD-DVD player is scaling Avia Home. Tomorrow AM I intend to get at least a rough setup of it and watch it for a while.

Just checked mine Heywood, I have the Two pole also!!! Crap Now I need to find a set of 4 or 6 too. But if you get frankenyokes, you really don't need them as bad. They are that good.
Good Idea to watch it for a while, or you'll end up like me, forever changing stuff. But I enjoy it soooooo much
Glad you finally have it almost ready to watch !

Seems like a bunch of the MArquees came with 2 poles, I swap them out to a minimum 4 pole and 6 when I have them in stock. Right now I'm out of stock..

I got a set of 6's from VDC about 2-ish years ago...with shipping it came to around $80. I hear they're a bit more now.
