I have Nec pg6 with 500 hrs on the tubes.

When I try to adjust the H static adjustment the cross-hairs do not move left or right.
when I use the V static adjustment the cross hairs go up and down.

Is this nomal or is one of the boards bad?

Here is a Board 3709 in the projector that has some oily dark substance on its in the area of the Circle.

is this the area what would control the the left and right static adjustment?

I cleaned it off with some 99% alcohol.

That is the deflection board. The C-drive is underneath between the tubes.
