I'm having some issues with my Barco 808s and maybe you can help me. When I go into the convergence menu using a genlocked pattern or selected source pattern (1080i@60) the width/thickness of the lines from each tube are different so red cannot be perfectly converged on green because it shows on both sides (it's wider) than the green line. Also all lines seem to be a little wider on the right side of the screen than the left side. Also I don't seem to be able to get focus as tight/clean as I think I should be able to based on screen shots I've seen on this and other forums. When viewing movies the picture is quite good but I'm pretty sure it can be better. Do you think I have astig issues, focus issues, other issues or a combination of issues? Any light you can shed or suggestions as to what to try will be greatly appreciated.

If you can't get good focus from menu adjustment, focus yokes position in neck might need tweaking.
Check this and also astig using service manual procedure attached.
Then adjust Sheimpflug bolts (only in Graphics), installation manual 8-6. In Data you need to check washers under lenses.
There is dynamic astig for edges in service menu.

Thanks for the reply. I will give your suggestions a try. I have tried adjusting the focus coils in the past but find that moving them seems to have little if any effect on focus but there is very little room for movement on my projector maybe 1/4" to 3/8" max. The projector has been converted to LC using P16LNP tubes prior to me acquiring it. I will also try running through the astig process again using a low resolution pattern to see If I can get better adjustment. I believe I used a genlocked pattern at higher resolution previously.
