Hi friends,
My BARCO CINE 7 goes out while watching a movie, last night.
When I rekindled the projector, the geometry was reset. Shocked

Now the geometry controls do not work anymore. Sad
When I change the geometry (Bow, skew, keystone, seagull ..) I see on-screen the bar indicator, but nothing changes.

H-phase, raster shifts, size, blanking, cortrols works good.

I reset all controls to midpoints. I haven't I2C or leds errors.

What is the problem?
Help me, please. Rolling Eyes

Giuen

Check the green lights on the front of the set. If one is out, then you have a blown fuse on the SMPS. I'm guessing the convergence board shorted out, that's pretty common on the Cine7s. That takes out the fuse, and disables all convergence functions. THe fuse is soldered in...

Tnks Curt,
When I turn on the projector, all the green LEDs are lit normally.
I notice a difference only; when powering off the projector, remains illuminated HTHD led, for a few seconds.

There are two convergence fuses, but if the green LEDs are on, then they are fine. that's what those LEDs are for.

You have a bad convergence driver or output board, most likely a bad output board. There will be no burnt parts, you need to swap it out or get yours repaired. Where are you located?

No, that's all you can do. Sending the boards in is cheap if you take them off the heatsink. THey are tough boards to repair...
