I have been trying unsuccessfully to get my Marquee 8000 to work again. I am at the point where I am considering parting it out. Part of the reason is that I would use the money towards a LC unit, such as a Sony G70. I already owned an AC pj before and always wanted and an LC. Maybe now is the time.
The tubes on the unit a very nice. When the pj was running, the crt on hour meter was well below 200 hours! When I took off the lenses, the blue and read were perfect and the green had very faint wear in a 4:3 pattern just about over the whole tube face. When I say faint, I meant barely visible. Initially I thought it was perfect.
I'm not sure what a fair price would be for the tubes as well as for the other parts. I know this is not the section to post for sell ads, but I just need an idea how much to list the parts for.
