I do not have my theater ready so I wasn't expecting much in the PQ department watching something like this movie ona a flat panel (LCD). Boy was I right. The shear amount of dark scenes makes this one movie not watchable on anything less than a CRT (well, maybe SED, but that still remains to be seen).
Even the indoor dark scenes with limited lighting made the overall image flat. I sometimes wonder if this was really a DVD in sheep's clothing and a black level set too high.
I was disappointed in the lack of basic Blu-ray authoring features, like a pop-up menu (didn't have any). And the Director's introduction was pitiful and done in 480P. Seriously, this disk is probably ranked the lowest in terms of authoring, but that is ok since I am not about the fluff ... unless its p0rn.
