hi there hi have a nec xg110 projector and was planning to buy a hdmi input card or hdmi to rgbhv adapter. first off, there are 3 products i am considering. full hd xg 1.3 input card($450), the ext moome hdmi 1.3($339) and the new hd fury2($249). im very new to all this so please be patient if i get a little confused.

i am planning to get a bluray player that has 7.1 audio out and hook it up to my onkyo tx nr900 via multichannel.
therefore i wll not be using a hdmi 1.3 cable for audio. im just using hdmi 1.3 for video.

does anyone know if hdmi 1.1,1.2 is of the same quality as hdmi 1.3. is hdmi 1.3 the best for video(not talking about audio)?

next question i have, is does the hdfury2 hdmi 1.3 compatible. if it isnt and you plug in a hdmi 1.3 bluray player will it handle it or do you loose quality.

any feedback is greatly appreciated as i would like to get the best piece(1 of the above) for my system.
i will only need 1 hdmi input for my home theater set up, i am aware that the full hd xg 1.3($450) has 2 hdmi inputs, but thats irrelavent to my questions. i simply looking for the "quality" of these units. since the prices are so different, i just want to get exactly what i need, for example: if the hd fury2($249) is hdmi 1.3 compatible, is it everything i'll need? then i wont need to waste $200 extra dollars.

thank you so much for any feedback it is greatly appreciated!
sorry for the nightmare of so many questions.

hi, here is the video path you can see, the EXT/IFB/VIM/XG-FULLHD is fully support 10/12bit deep color~
and other solution will be only 8bit path.

thanks moome for the feedback.
all the specs and numbers are a little over my head but i seem to understand somewhat.

my last question is that the "ext" hdmi 1.3 had a 10-12bit path(correct me if im wrong) and the"nec xg"hdmi 1.3 has a 12 bit path the only difference in the two units(despite the different hook ups and the ext hdmi having only one hdmi input)?

overall, i'm looking to find out which one of the above products will perform better. for my home theater setup, i will only need one hdmi input and would like to save some money if the second hdmi input is not needed.

thanks so kindly

hi, the EXT-FULLHD and IFB-FULLHD are good picture quality, there is not big difference between them~
