I just bought a set of 9500 tubes with the mounting hardware, magnetics, lenses and neck boards. I am thinking about modifying the neck boards, but would like to make sure they work before I do so.

Does anyone know if Marquee neck boards are backwards compatible? Can I use my 8500 to test my 9500 neck boards?

yes they are, you might have to cut a bit of the pcb or the tube socket to make them fit if they are the type that has a little extra where the socket
plugs in.

Make shure the 9500 tubes are the original and not LUG versions
