I know, I know... Stick a roller under it and balance it.

I'm going to hang the 9500 (finally!) tomorrow, and have a damn spiffy mount to use... I want to get the CG right so I don't have to wrestle with it when winching it up. Is CG documented somewhere?

Using the "roll it on a stick" (well, conduit!) method on a nekkid PJ (working, including lenses, but lacking cosmetic side and top covers) I found the CG to be about 5" aft of the front foot.
When I finish dressing it I'll re-check but odds are it won't move much. The proof will be when I hang the thing by the lift cable.

Heywoods new installation will show my version of where and when to use Uni-Strut to hang a CRT projector. He took a couple of pictures as we were putting it together.
