Not that there is bellow-panic regarding my 9500lc but I was wondering if new marquee bellows also sweat and if barco bellows do sweat at all...

from what I hear its normal wehn pressure is built up, make sure you have some room for expansion and also when putting the screw back in press on the bellow to bring the glycol up the bottom of the screw hole, put the screw back in while keeping the pressure on the bellow to creat a negative pressuer in the bellow. This will keep any glycol form seeping out while it equalizes over time and will allow room for normal water/moisture to go or something like that, Stefuel suggested this.

Hello,

Out of 9 9" LC housings and jeez at least 15 8" LC housings, all with bellows,
I haven't seen any perspiration on the Barcos, and they don't swell up either -
and the rubber expansion cups on Sony PJ's don't seem to ever expand much,
and no perspiration there either.

So the sweaty bellows issue is a Marquee feature, which cannot be disabled
in the onboard menu.

I am considering using Barco housings for my future splitpack project,
unless those g90 housings show up someday....hohoho! The Barco has
a lot lower profile though, which would help with headroom.

Cheers,
Galen

Its a Marquee-only problem. No Barco/Sony I have ever seen has leaking/sweating bellows.

Well, the interesting thing about Sony g70 and g90 is that
the actual bellows are metal, black anodized aluminum.

Which is a very nice solution, along with their schliemphlug design.

But they both have an accordion style rubber expansion cup on
the top of the housings which are not known to seep or swell.

So I guess we should get working on a nice Barco LC housing conversion
for the Marquee - the g90 ones are too tall for the case, I checked last year.
