HELLO .. AND THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE.. HERE LATELY .. I TURN ON MY TELEVISION.. IT PLAYS FOR 20 MINUTES THEN THE PICTURE GOES OUT YET I STILL HEAR SOUND.. WE TURN OFF THE TELEVISION AND WAIT 15 MINUTES IT COES BACK ON BUT STILL GOES OUT LEAVING ONLY THE SOUND.. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE IS WITH MY SET... AGAIN THANK YOU

There's only one guy that can help here.. macGuyver.

From what you're describing, sounds like the set is going into HV shutdown mode.. but that can be a lot of things in the set that cause that.

Ouch, your hurting my ears. Not so loud.......just kidding. Well since it first off appears to be temp related I would check for poor solder joints, especially around the flyback, horz output and horz drive transformer. Its doesn't sound like the eeprom is resetting because RCA's usually dont reset and 2 you usually have to unplug the set to get an eeprom to reset. Check solder first.

If you dont understand anything I just said then call a repair man........ Shocked
