Hi, I just moved and am re-setting up my Nec PG-6000. When I tried converging it, I noticed that the blue linearity is off by too much, the convergence control is at its limit before it is fixed. So I tried wiggling controls around the convergence board and trying again. When I powered it up again, the convergence was a little closer, but it was unstable and "wiggling". After awhile it seemed to stable out, and I could get it converged almost perfect but I've got the linearity setting at 100.

Is this a convergence board problem or system board problem or ? Should I try and start over with a new memory block? I have been using this block for awhile.

Thanks!

I would first try a redo just to make sure its not a setting issue. If you make a new entry you'll have to delete the old entry thats at the same resolution so it doesn't lock onto the old one. Or you can just normalize the entry you have, to neutral everything out. If you do a normalize, go in there and recheck everything after words to make sure all is neutraled. I dont think normalize neutrals everything. With everything neutraled, see how your raster centering is before you start making adjustments.

Oh, and take notice that there is a good range of movement on all adjustment control. And make sure your polarity connections are correct for your current setup and in the menu also.
