One of my projects, a Barco Data 701, keeps blowing the 0.125A fuse (the standby power supply fuse). Any ideas to track down the source of the problem? I have three new fuses left before I'd need to head back to the electronics store.

As far as I know, that fuse powers the CPU board and the remote sensors.

Could just be a pinched wire to the controller or IR cable then .

Try disconnecting the output of the standby power supply. If this solves the problem, the fault is a short after the supply (cpu board or remote sensors or associated wires).
If the fuse still blows, you have a fried standby power supply.
