|
|
Hi
When I look in the lenses there are some (moving) horizontal distortion lines visible when an equal picture is expected (with no input signal).
How can I detemine what the source of this distortion is?
It's hardly visible when playing movies and it varies from time to time.
I hope this picture (clickable) explains what I'm talking about
The 1292 is fired up and it shows a blank screen, also on green and blue this distortion is visible in the lens.
On the screen it's hardly visible because there is almost no light output.
I've tried this with and without an ifb12 card (rgbhv) and that makes no difference.
The gain is pretty high to compensate for a low-emission blue tube.
Brightness is 90 and contrast is 70.
Could it be a ground lead placed wrong or some wires tied together with a ground lead?
My 1292 came partly disassembled so I had to find out myself how all should be wired ....
André

Can anyone look for the location of earthing cables, I don't know were they should be.
The DC and E boards on top have pins with black earthing cables, were do they go?
Has the metal frame where these boards are mounted in a cable connected to an earthing point?
I really think that a missing cable could cause the distrortion like on my pics.
The problem is that I bought my 1292 almost completely disassembled so I don't know if it is complete

Jep that's what it looks like when there is no input signal
When showing a 1080p hd dvd I can see the same but then it runs slowly from top to bottom.
It comes and it goes, I cannot see it al the time.
