Hey
I've come to the conclusion that my BG808s is in dire need of astig adjustment on the red tube. However, I simply can't reach the knobs to do this - they're both on the "wrong" side of the tube (against the wall of the chassis), one slightly lower than the other. I can at most get one finger down but I will not be able to do more than push the knob a bit. The way the video boards are mounted on the tube makes it even more difficult.
How do I solve this? Should I angle the tube temporarily inwards to do the adjustments, or can I perhaps just rotate the whole magnet package 180 degrees and hope I can adjust it from there?
Problem 2: I'm sort of having trouble focusing the green tube. It does focus near perfectly, but at the very end of the electronic controls (like 98-99). If I set the focus at 57 and adjust the placement of the focus yoke, as per curt's instructions, it doesn't get far enough back on the tube neck to focus properly. Do I have a bad part somewhere?
