Is there a way to simply pass a signal through without messing with it? I remember when this box was in the early production stages a few people and myself suggested a 1920 x 1200 mode since many of us were purchasing the box just for a dell 2405FPW display, and other similar displays. Moome replied stating that he would implement that into the box and that it would support output of 1920 x 1200. I'm not sure what happened after he said that, because it definitely does not support this display mode. I'm assuming it may of been not as early into production as I had thought, or he just had to finally draw the line on adding features, but either way if I boot my PC up plugged into this box (if it's already on and I just plug it in, it passes through 1920 x 1200 with no problems) it will output 1920 x 1080 and I can not change it to 1920 x 1200 without it squeezing the extra pixels into the 1080 space. I have to constantly unhook and re-hook my box and my PC when ever I want to use one or the other and it sucks big time. Is there a simple way to just pass a signal through on a certain port? And if not, does anyone have any other suggestions? I can't keep switching them like this, it's just not feasible, especially now that I finally bought my first game (yes, I've had it for about a year with no games yet, it's not easy to spend 60 dollars on something that's easily and cheaply produced at such mass quantities) so now I'm actually using it.

Thanks!

P.S.

I'm still having the issue mentioned here:

https://www.curtpalme.com/forum_archived/viewtopic.php@t=10449.html

but I've finally contacted moome about it and we've been e-mailing back and forth. I'm hoping he can help me out without me having to send the box back in, but I'm afraid I may have to do just that Sad

I know the device will only output 1600 x 1200 or 1920 x 1080, and even though moome did say he would add 1920 x 1200 support back when he was taking pre-orders, that isn't what I'm asking about. I'm asking if there is a pass through mode; in other words, simply passing what goes in strait out without changing it in any way. If something like this were featured on the box though, I'm assuming the remote would allow you to activate it, however, my remote does absolutly nothing Sad

EDIT: Looks like the fith times a charm! My remote changes inputs! I don't know why it didn't work before, but now pressing buttons 1-4 changes inputs! So I guess it does work O.o Hooray!

btw, just recognized you from avsforum Very Happy I was the one asking about the CRT projectors xD I didn't make the connection though until I read your sig

I found something interesting while looking for useful information in moomes section; it was under the review that was posted a while ago and it mentions something about a pass by mode. The talk was of how it outputs RGB instead of outputting YCbCr, causing several conversions between the output device and the display device. Moome mentioned a special model that supports YCbCr output via a "pass by mode" in his words exactly. Does this mean that the ONLY thing it will do is remove the HDCP and not apply any other processing at all? Or does it only mean that the output will be YCbCr, but still only a max resolution of 1080p instead of the resolution of the original output device?

Some MUX-HD's have a pass through mode. I belive only a few of the last batch had this feature, and you had to ask for it to get one. Moome referred to them as MUX-HD "specials". If you have one, the way it works is the following:

Press the B button on the remote to change between pass-through mode and RGB mode.

Pass-through mode does exactly that. The MUX-HD outputs exactly what was input, minus HDCP. I.e., RGB in, RGB out. YCbCr in, YCbCr out.

RGB mode converts whatever is input to RGB, and removes HDCP. I.e., RGB in, RGB out. YCbCr in, RGB out.
