Very Very Nice gary! But it might need some color calibration, have you don that yet? A bit of redishness to it, but that could be from you not wanting to defocus the blue Wink Just messing with ya !

nice work !

Athan, yeah yeah us picky CRT guys can pick out anything wrong in a image Very Happy

anything you see wrong on the screenshots is the camera only, I guarantee you that sir Smile

my camera has red push and slightly oversaturated colors, otherwise it does pretty decent

Hi Gary,

I'm curious what HD SDI chip you're using, is it still the National ICs?

Nice try trying to promote your products in here Gary, I'm afraid it won't fly.

Try it again and I'll blow you off the forum completely. Again.

where did I say I had anything for sale Curt? I don't have anything for sale here and obviously won't because you guys aren't interested, no problem Thumbs Up

people reading this forum (and this post) have no idea I actually deal in some stuff, only way people know is if they know me from outside these parts

I do apologize for addressing Athan's concern over the LG from another forum, I shouldn't have done that

please explain why you think that? and where I have anything for sale here?, a statement like that has no validity without further explanation

I would be happy to know why you think that and possibly address it

here I was thinking I could discuss HD-SDI with people that have seen it or have it etc. and once again I am attacked

Gary, Curt said nothing about discussing electronics, just don't push any sales talk. I for one, like Tom, is curious as to what chips are being used.

guys I simply can't comment on chips and implementation or etc. because that is sales talk

but for the record and to set that straight, I am working with JVB on HD-SDI products(you must forgive me Curt because that is sales talk)

I can't divulge chips or implementation or schematics etc., HD-SDI mods are not DIY, that I can assure anyone, nothing like SD-SDI, there is even board level programming involved for each unit and every different player out there, tough work involved

Hopefully soon some of the well thought of "elder statesmen" of the CRT commumnity will get a chance to have a look.

I myself find it curious how many people opine that in theory there should be no improvement.
What a ridiculous claim to make to people that have not forsaken these vertical toaster ovens for ergonomics.

I'm not from Missouri but you still need to show me!!

For the record, all of my dealings with Gary have gone exceedingly smoothly. I have never met the man personally.

Gary, you are something else. You obviously think we are all very naive. Curt, you really should delete this thread. Gary shouldn't be allowed to get away with this.

Mark, I hope you're going to have an HT meet. I'm really looking forward to seeing your setup!

Phil,

As of yesterday my two Ultra's are both in the air on my custom made speaker stand inverted mounts.
Dave may not believe me, but I am making progress!!!

I won't point or name names, but aren't others here allowed to say that they have made an improvement to a device?

Aren't we all here to implement & faclilitate the best possible picture?

Christ, I didn't want to drag this up again. I won't bother either. Gary knows what's up, that's all that matters Move along, nothing to see here.
