Guys!
I have a Marquee 8110 dropped off here this morning, the video is whacky, like a photographic negative; here is no signal applied:
And this is the crosshatch:

I've seen that before on a direct view TV but it was some time ago. If I remember correctly it was a horz issue. But couldn't say for sure.

Out of curiosity, were those pix taken after you checked the orientation of the connectors and reseated everything Tim?

Guys!
I found the problem board, it was a modded VIM, not sure what part of the VIM at this time.

I would have said HVPS G2s were way too high.

If you's guys would stop modding marquees in what appears to be another failed attempt to surpass the image quality of a AmPro, things like this wouldn't happen.

This machine was on a ceiling a few miles from my house. I did try a control board at the site, but the homeowner decreed that we could not wear shoes on her finicky carpet, so I was damned if I was going to spend any time shoeless up on a ladder, my feet were killing me!
The dc voltages to the neckboards were all OK. I unplugged the VIM feed to the green neckboard and green went dark, so that pretty much left the VIM as the prime suspect. The second VIM blown like this in two months; the other one intermits for some reason, both were CS modded.

What is CS modded?
From looking at the pics I wonder if the analog switch for internal/external video is the culprit, not switching to the correct video or its stuck in a partial open closed state?

A friend worked for Death Wish Piano Movers here in Boston for several years. BIG dude.
They had a customer that moved her piano three times a year, for something like a $1k per. The move was 24", literally. Think 'orbiting' for the carpet.
Apparently her grand piano in her Beacon Hill brownstone was sitting atop a rug worth more than my house.
