I first looked through out this forum for clues, as I do not get any error codes. I am having intermittent brightness in all colors.
NEC 9pg, new power supply. Re-seated F, D and C boards. Epprom was reset. New signals- SVIDEO: NTSC dvd player, RGB: 1024x768 60hz htpc.
Upon boot up, menu is wavy rolling sideways gibberish.
After a 1 min warm up, menu is bright and crisp, but no image from test patterns, vga, or svideo.
After a 10 min warm up, image starts to work from test pattern, vga or svideo but is very dim.
After a 20 min warm up, intermittent brightness in all colors.
Adjusted gain levels. Image is usable, but I get intermittent brightness in all colors.
If the menu is bright and crisp, but the test pattern, vga or svideo is dim, what board should I replace?
Sounds like the video board....maybe this is what caused my power supply to fail in the first place.
